Many of you know that I started selling LipSense in 2017. And for those of you that didn’t know that or don’t know what LipSense is, let me tell you in a few words: magic in a tube.
I tried it in early January 2017, and after one time, I was HOOKED! And by hooked, I mean I needed to sell it so I could spread the magic around! LipSense is lipstick that does not come off.
I repeat, lipstick that does not come off. If you really need it to, it can. But if you want to wear the same color for a few days, it will stay on.
How many of you would put on lipstick, then go out to dinner, then look in the mirror and your lipstick was completely gone?
With LipSense, that doesn’t happen! And it is glorious!
LipSense, owned by SeneGence, is a direct-sales company. Which means you can’t go buy it off the shelf at Sephora or Ulta. You have to purchase from a distributor! I wrote about this last year (read about that here) and how never in a million years did I think I would be dabbling in direct sales. But I guess when you truly love the product, you DO do direct sales. 🙂
I went in, guns blazing, last January, ready to take over the LipSense world. I owe this all to Melissa Vahlberg (who is a cousin via my mom’s side) who I signed up under – she was ROCKING the business (and still is)… and everything looked amazing on her so I was really excited!
I plastered everyone’s Facebook and Instagram walls with LipSense and, eventually, the rest of the makeup line for an entire year.
Which is why I have toned it down in 2018!
Toned it down, but still selling!
So today’s post is just a reminder to you that yes, I am still selling LipSense/SeneGence products! But no, I’m not taking over your timelines anymore! If you ever need any new colors, ran out of a color and need a new one, want to try out a product, I’m your gal.
And on top of that, I’m going to tell you my five favorite SeneGence products that I honestly, truly, deep-down love and KNOW that you all will feel the same.
- All LipSense Colors.
I’ve given up on choosing a favorite. Every season I change my mind on my favorite. In the fall and winter, it was Caramel Latte and Blu-Red. Right now, I love Roseberry. In the summer, Dark Pink is my jam as well as Kiss for a Cause. There are so many color and gloss options that there truly is the perfect color for everyone!
- Bougainvillea Gloss.
I LOVE this gloss. From January until June, they couldn’t keep it in stock! It was sold out as soon as it went on the invisible shelves! And it has by far been the best-selling gloss or me. I love it because you can wear it by itself and it’s SO pretty! It’s very, very light pink and doesn’t have the staying power of LipSense, but if you want a lighter look, you need this gloss.
- Candlelight ShadowSense.
ShadowSense is a cream-to-powder based eyeshadow. And it has GREAT staying power — it won’t be smudging off after a few hours!
Why I love this so much is because it serves a dual purpose (as so many of the products do). I use it as a concealer and as an eye primer. I don’t know if I will ever try anything else on my eyes ever again! I sometimes wear it by itself if I’m going to be hanging at home.
It’s really lightweight and goes on easily… it’s a must-have item.
- Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer.
So I’m not a heavy-makeup feeling wearer (does that make sense)! I need good coverage, but I don’t want it to look like I plastered my face with makeup.
Hence the CCTM.
It comes in light and medium and I can wear the medium all year long. A lot of customers will buy light for the colder months when they haven’t been out in the sun much and then switch to medium in the summer time.
It is very lightweight, but does its job and honestly – in the winter time when my face feels so dry, putting this moisturizer on makes it feel so much better! I’m double-dipping on this one to say that I ALSO love our Silk Primer. I have tried other primers, but always come back to this one. Again, very lightweight, reduces the look of pores and just
for fun, fill wrinkles. 😉
Yes, I realize I’m contradicting myself here since above I said that I use the Candlelight ShadowSense as a concealer. Which I do. I use it under my eyes (when I’m not using Snow ShadowSense – a white shadow that really brightens under my eyes and takes away the dark circles!) and every day on my eyelids.
BUT they came out with a new concealer at the end of last year and it’s been amazing! It’s a small tube, but a teeny dot of concealer goes a LONG way and legit conceals the spots I need hidden!
Runners-up: Nangai Oil (I use every night with a drop of it in my face moisturizer and a drop in my hand lotion), Sandstone Pearl Shimmer ShadowSense (I use this ALMOST every day as my only eyeshadow – it’s very light with shimmer), Normal to Oily Face Wash ((I have not done the entire skincare regimen (that is my next goal) but I have used this face wash and LOVE it – it has microbeads in it that really make my face feel fresh and clean), Lip Balm (I was a habitual Burts Bees user until I tried this — it has no wax in it, so it goes on smoothly and is so soft. I went all winter with zero cracked or chapped lips!).
If you guys want to try a product, need a refill, want to order, need help on WHAT to order, I’m your gal! I might not be taking over your social media with my posts, but I’m still loving the products and selling them… just not IN YOUR FACE! 🙂
