Last week. This week. All a blur to me.
I’m currently freezing cold and really just want to either curl up and take a nap (which means I’m definitely tired OR missing my caffeine from my daily Coke that I decided to give up for Lent… that started only two days ago) or watch Real Housewives of New York City that my computer won’t let me watch.
Neither of those options can happen though because I owe you some Friday Favorites, and I promise you, this week, they are happening! 🙂
If you haven’t heard of Golden Goose sneakers before, then you don’t follow Beth from Seersuckers & Saddles (which you should absolutely do). Beth is obsessed with these shoes and in turn, has made her followers obsessed. But at $450-plus, I’m out!
I can say with 100 percent honesty that I like the sneaker, but I am not obsessed. I’d rather have another pair of comfy Uggs. 🙂 With that being said, these Golden Goose dupes from Amazon are REAL cute and much more affordable. Like $35 affordable.
They come in a few different color options and would be so cute with a jean skirt, shorts of some jeans for a more casual look! Make sure to check the sizing when ordering, I think they run a little small.
PS. They also have them in kid sizes and they are so flipping cute!
OK, how many of you have tried this? It’s a cult favorite amongst beauty bloggers! I have only tried one Dr. Brandt item before – an Illuminating Primer – and it came in a Fab Fit Fun box and I’ve really liked it. I like the consistency of it and after watching a video on this product, it looks very similar! And literally de-puffs!
So if you’re in the market for an under eye ‘helper’… this might do the trick!
Please raise your hand if you are ready for Spring? And if you aren’t raising your hand, please kindly kick yourself! 🙂
I saw this sweater on JCrew Factory’s site and LOVED the color! We all are going to need some bright pops of color to get Spring to get on up in here – and this sweater is it! Love it paired with some printed pants or skirt. Or even in some denim cropped skinnies and a fun shoe!
It’s easy to take a classic, simple piece and make it into a really cute outfit and this sweater is where it’s at!
OK. So I do not own these yet. But my sister, who uses my Amazon Prime, did (and I only know this because the purchase and shipping emails come to me). BUT… these are supposedly Lululemon dupes and have prettttty amazing reviews on Amazon as well as from bloggers I follow (damn you, Beth!)
Lauren, when they arrive today, can you let us know?! 🙂
I have whined to you all before about how I wash my hair and yet it still always feels greasy! Come to find out, my sister in law has the exact same issue.
I followed one of my stylist friends’ advice and used baking soda and apple cider vinegar mixed together to create a paste and then using in my hair when I shower.
It worked like magic the first time! The after that, it’s been so-so. But it’s SO frustrating – my hair looks like a big grease ball in the back! I’m blaming the water… but when I think about it, it did this in Bentonville, too. So, is it really the water?
Well, Lindsey Regan Thorne suggested this on her InstaStories this week and I immediately forwarded to my sister in law. And I’m ALL in. It’s a white charcoal formula that helps detox, remove residue get the gunk out! The tip of the bottle is perfect because it allows you to point at the trouble spots! It also comes with a scalp massager to really get in there as well as helps boost circulation and optimize hair growth.
So if you any of you have this same issue… TRY THIS!
And that’s it for this week friends! Hope you all get a nice, somewhat warm weekend! We are home this weekend and then from here on out, our weekends are insane until the middle of May! IT BETTER BE SPRING BY THEN! 😉
As always, GO CATS! BEAT THE SOONERS AND TAKE THE BIG 12 CROWN!!! 🙂
