IS IT SPRING YET?!!!
Is everyone in the country asking this question or just those of us in the Midwest?!!! Though I will say that I feel for my friends in Kansas City, whose kids basically haven’t been to school in 2019 due to snow days.
Let’s have some happy thoughts with some Favorites, shall we?! 🙂
How many of you walk in to a place and there is a smell in the air that reminds you of something?
This is random, but there is a bathroom that I used to walk in that smelled like skittles. And I love skittles!
Well, today, I walked into a nice bathroom and the smell was THIS (why are all these amazing smells coming from bathrooms, I don’t know)!
My mom used to get Aromatique potpourri (before the days of Airwick!) and she had seasonal scents. This one in particular reminds me of our house in Sedan in spring time… and easter. I LOVE it! And luckily, Amazon has it for $15. You guys, the smell is truly one of spring and will make you forget that there is still six inches of snow outside your window!
Dang you, Amazon, and all your cool things!
So we all need this. It basically replaces your loofah! It’s a new and improved antibacterial bath sponge made of soft silicone. One side allows you to cleanse with your body soap, while the other side is for scrubbing and massaging!
If this eliminates me buying any more loofahs (Matt let’s his expand to the size of a watermelon), I’m in! They come in pink, mint green and black – so perfect for your male counterpart!
I have been hunting for a jacket for the spring (because again, anything I can do to will spring here, I will do)! I ran into Old Navy today to grab some pajamas for Tess and strolled the women’s section. And found this Twill Moto Jacket!
It’s adorable and I love the style – it’s still casual, but with the moto jacket style, it dresses it up a little!
I adore this color, but it also comes in black (with silver zippers so I said no to that) and in a pretty blush pink. I figured I would get the most wear out of this color!
So, now everyone needs to go buy this so we spring will arrive!!! IT’S ON YOU! 🙂
I posted on my InstaStories Wednesday night about my new love with Tarte’s Shape Tape concealer (seriously, if you’re in the market for a new concealer… test it out)! I had a friend message me about how she had used it for a year and she noticed it would get dry and creases.
I also know this Becca Anti-Fatigue Under Eye Primer comes highly recommended. The only reason I would try this first is because most other under eye primers look like a concealer… so you put that on, then add on your normal concealer. There’s just a lot of heaviness going on, in my opinion!
This one is more like a balm that you pat on and has a small tingling sensation (which sounds amazing to put under your eyes). It says it instantly smooths and blurs lines (which all Becca products I have tried thus far DO actually do those things!) while reducing puffiness over time.
I’d give this a go!
This is a definitely a first for Friday Favorites.
Me… recommending paper plates.
But do you know how many times I have walked past these adorable blue gingham plates (and matching gingham bowls) at Target and stopped, picked them up, stared at them, told myself I didn’t need them, put them down and sadly walked away?
Too many times, that’s how many times!
(Which means I’m picking them up when I have to run in tomorrow…)
And on that note… I hope you all have a wonderful WARM weekend wherever you will be! We will be celebrating our Tess’s third birthday… can you believe it?! She’s growing up so quickly and I just can’t deal!!!
Until next time…
And as always… GO CATS (#1 IN THE BIG 12!!!!)! BEAT THE COWBOYS (SO WE CAN STAY #1 IN THE BIG 12!!!!!)!!! 😉
