Happy Friday, friends! I’m BACK with another edition of Friday Favorites after a two-week hiatus (thanks surgery!).
There are so many companies that advertise on my Facebook page that I sometimes just stop paying attention. UNTIL they throw cute clothes at me – then I screenshot and send to my sister. 🙂
This dress was one of those… it’s an adorable patchwork sweater dress that will be great for fall and winter for some knee-high boots or booties! It comes in TONS of color options, but I was drawn to the black. It gets great reviews, so head on over to WindPink.com and check this dress out (and everything else on the site – so cute)!
My mother-in-law ventured to Oakbrook Center – an amazing outdoor mall – last weekend specifically to visit the Ballard Designs store. I had been browsing their catalog forever, but oh my Lord… going to the store was AMAZING. There aren’t many in the U.S., so when this one opened up just recently, I knew I had to get to it.
I only took pictures of 73 things and videoed half of the store, but fell in love with so many pieces.
And these Helina Metal Platters are on my “Must Have” list for 2019. I plan on doing some entertaining at some point in my life, but I honestly only own maybe two or three serving pieces. I’m also pretty picky (did anyone know this?!), but these platters are SO great. They are made of zinc and hand-rubbed with an antique polish to give them a vintage feel and come in either a round or oval shape.
I know I have talked to you all about Brandless before. It’s an online store that sells food, beauty, and health items as well as LOTS of other things that are $3.
And it’s not junk. It’s legit decent!
So I of course had scanned their site and besides the shopping cart full of things from food to vitamins, I came across wooden spoons and different kitchen utensils. I thought about my utensil situation and realized I own ONE wooden spoon. So I added two to my cart.
Then I started adding this slotted spoon, slotted turner, and a whisk. I’m sorry, but how cute are they?! The wooden utensils have a copper coated handle while the ends of the silicone utensils are a pretty greige…
Three dollars, people. Stock up!
GIRLS! I just ordered this necklace on Myers and Five and only paid shipping! The necklace was free.
There were a few different options, but in the end I decided to go with this one and paid $7.95 total for it. Go check it out ASAP before the deal goes away! I love how simple this is – it will go with everything! Click here to go to the site!
My BFF messaged me a few weeks ago about a gal to follow on Instagram who seemed to know what they were talking about in regards to makeup/skincare (Jamie Golden). I immediately went and watched her highlight video on skincare and screenshot almost every one of the products she talked about!
And immediately went and bought this Weleda Skin Food moisturizer. She said that it was perfect for any areas that get really dry in the winter time, but that she also used it on her face.
So no lies… it came and I was so excited (it’s only $10 on Amazon). I opened it up and HOLY COW… it was SO thick! I wasn’t sure how to spread that on my face! 🙂 I texted Jenna to tell her I had bought it and was sure I had made a mistake because how could I put this on my face. She said it was the right one and that it was legit!
I got used to it and now I LOVE it. I put it on my face every night as well as on some dry patches under my arms and on my hands. It’s SO good! I’m definitely Team Weleda!
And that’s a wrap for today, folks! We head out tomorrow for Christmas vacation – our first stop is my brother and sister-in-law’s house for Christmas on the farm, followed by Manhattan, then Kansas City, then back to Chicago.
So excited for the week away! Safe travels to everyone venturing out and if you’re staying put, enjoy staying put! 🙂
