Happy Friday, friends! Or Happy Mother’s Day weekend!
I’m just going to go ahead and make it an entire weekend – screw this one-day business! 🙂
You guys know how I live and die by my Madrid Birkenstock sandals in the summer, right? I’ve raved about them for two years now! I’m as obsessed as one can be with that shoe.
But I do tend to over-wear them (if that can really happen)… and so I might have scooped these Tortoise Pool Slides up during a recent JCrew sale! Let’s be real… I very rarely put on a shoe that can’t be worn at both the playground and a restaurant (which means my restaurant clothing standards are not SUPER high) and I felt like this shoe would actually up my game a little bit!
Let’s just add this to the list of things I desperately want in my makeup bag!
This is the Becca Soft Light Blurring Powder and the only reason I know it exists is because of Kate at The Small Things blog. I’m super mad I didn’t screen-shot the pics of her before and after that she posted on her InstaStories (but now are gone), but I feel like it’s a must-have! It is suppose to blur imperfections and eliminate shine for a natural look. It really gave her face dimension, which I think is what I was so blown away by!
So just trust me… click the link and watch the video. You’ll want it, too!
Speaking of outfits to wear my Tortoise Pool Slides with…
This is only $25 and comes in three other prints.
I hopped on the Supergoop bandwagon when I bought the sunless tanner a few weeks ago. And since the sun is now out ALOT more than it was the previous months and we are actually outside, it’s time to get some sunscreen.
This year, I’m skipping Target and going straight to the good stuff. It’s time.
I went to Supergoop and browsed and thought I’d like to give these a shot and since it comes in a mini-set for $25, I feel like it’s a no-brainer. I personally might be most excited about the setting mist. Just spray it on over your makeup for some extra SPF coverage!
I am sad to announce that it is time to retire my buffalo check large tote from my friends at Southern TradeMark. I have used that bag SO SO SO much – its with us every week when we head to dance, full of snacks, technology and anything to keep us entertained for 50 minutes!
But alas, it is finally May. And flannel buffalo check and May don’t really mix for me! So I immediately went to Lands End. Because canvas and May scream summer to me! I have loved their canvas bags for years (and have quite a few) but don’t have an extra large version, which is really what I need for the summer!
They have some fun colors – it was between this turquoise and olive color or a coral and olive. Either way, they are full of plenty or room and pockets for our trips to the gym, pool, beach, splash pad, library, soccer… wherever the summer days take us! And it’s on sale for $33.60. That’s a steal!
And that’s a wrap, friends! Have a wonderful weekend, celebrate those mom’s in your life because without them, you wouldn’t be here. Literally. 😉
