Friday Favorites have returned after a one-week hiatus! Hope you all have had a great week! We are headed to Kansas tomorrow to actually enjoy some spring-like weather rather than the chance of snow and 30-40 degree temps in Chicago. No thanks!
Let’s get to some Friday Favorites!
Friends, this is the first time in the history of Friday Favorites that I have repeated a favorite (so I think…). I have now tried four different brow pencils/gels/creams and of those four, this one takes the cake. Benefit’s Gimme Brow, in my opinion, is the most natural looking of the four that I have tried. I don’t have awful eyebrows but they need to be filled in and this does the trick. It comes in three different shades and I do the lightest shade they have.
So if you’re on the hunt… I 100 percent recommend this one!
Guys, I don’t even like showing you expensive shoes like this. But I thought about how much I wear my black Birkenstock Madrid sandals that were $30… and I feel like I’d just have to wear these only a quarter of the length that I have worn those and will have gotten my money’s worth!
I LOVE these Big Buckle Birkenstock’s and feel that on those rare summer outings when I need to maybe dress up my feet a little more than my EVA sandal, this would work! 🙂 I also don’t feel like these are as bulky as Birks can sometimes look.
So… there you have it! The reasonings as to WHY you can buy these – you are welcome!
I don’t know what my deal is right now, but I’m obsessed with trying to find the best products to make my face smoother and try to work on wrinkles before they get out of control… but without spending more than $100. And it’s almost impossible! It feels like every blogger I follow uses a $200 night cream and I’m like, “That ain’t happening in this lifetime!”
So I’m on the prowl for a miracle formula. It might not all be from the same brand. But I’m looking for it! I’m currently using this L’Oreal Revitalift Night Cream mixed with Senegence’s Nangail Oil (see below pic).
So far, I’m happy with the results. I’m not breaking out from it (which is always a concern for me), but I feel like it’s doing its job. So… less than $10 on the face cream and less than $50 with my discount on the nangail oil that can be used for many different purposes…
*Message me if you’re curious about the Nangai Oil – that has to be bought through me!
You guys know how much my family and I road trip. We have been doing it since Sloane was one month old! We do it for many reasons, but mainly because if we didn’t, we wouldn’t see family as much as we should. So we go! And when you road trip as much as we do, I can tell you that comfy car attire is a necessity.
That is why I feel like I need to RUN to the nearest Gap and grab this jumpsuit before we leave for spring break! It’s ribbed. It’s soft spun. And it comes in black, which is probably what I would grab. I’m obsessed!
If you guys have not jumped on the jumpsuit bandwagon yet, I highly recommend it. It’s just a fun twist on an outfit and usually, people aren’t expecting it!
I remember walking into Dillard’s in Bartlesville and smelling this (or depending on the season, the different potpourri smells by this brand) and just thinking, “AHH! It’s spring…” I LOVE the Aromatique brand and their scents. And I love how I can pour the contents out and it’s not only great-smelling, but a pretty visual!
I have the Christmas version as well and everything I said above goes with the Christmas scent as well! Love it! Click this link to snag a bag!
PS. Dillard’s STILL sells this – the one in Rogers, Ark., sold it the last time I was there! 🙂
And that’s it friends! Have a fantastic weekend and we will talk to you next week!
