Welcome to another edition of Friday Favorites, friends! Yet another four-day week for my kids, so I have felt off all week… Thursday felt like Friday. Today feels like Wednesday. I’m pretty sure it is Friday… right?!
On the plus side, our snow has melted (for now), we had a day of 60-degree temps (which felt AMAZING) and this weekend we celebrate my Tess’s second birthday! Two years old, acts like a two-year-old and screams like a two-year-old. She’s got it down pat!
I ran out of my Benefit Gimme Brow eyebrow gel and I was at Target on the hunt for something that would tide me over for awhile, I came across this Maybelline Total Temptation Brow Definer. So far, I’m very pleased with it! It’s probably a little darker than the Benefit version was and I liked how the Gimme Brow had the gel come off on the brush, rather than use the brush, then use the pencil – it was all one one swoop. BUT… for $6.99 this is doing the trick!
I showed this chair off in my InstaStories on Wednesday, but wanted you all to have a reference in case you loved it like me! This plaid chair – the Lancaster – is from At Home, a home decor store that is MASSIVE and full of EVERYTHING! I had no particular reason to be in there, but Tess and I had driven 30 minutes out to IKEA to do one, quick thing and this store was basically next door. So we were browsing and this jumped out at me!
Oh my goodness, I LOVE the pattern, I LOVE that it has the caster wheels, the color of the wood is just right and the chair is surprisingly comfy and oversized! It does come with a matching pillow… and is $300! I immediately put it on my wish list, when I have a larger house that can fit this amazing chair!
I’m not sure if you all saw the adorable fleece pullover that arrived in the shop last Friday. Oh my goodness… so much goodness! It’s a quarter zip with pockets, can be tightened at the bottom, is super warm and comfy and great quality! It’s $50 and free shipping so if you’ve been in the market for one of these bad boys, I highly recommend this one!
My brother is an “Office” fanatic! As is my sister… I think it’s freaking hysterical, but they have lines memorized and just take it to an entire new level.
Jord’s birthday is a month away… so I have to decide between the above poster.
Or this one…
Ohhhh…. the humor! 🙂
Friends, if you live in the Chicago area and are desperately in need of AAAAMAZING cinnamon rolls, go to Ann Sather
I cannot speak enough to how freaking delicious these are! We went here a few weeks ago and will be going back on Saturday for Tess’s birthday breakfast and I have already told Matt not to let me order a breakfast because these cinnamon rolls are the appetizer (not even kidding – some places bring you bread, this place brings you cinnamon rolls).
If you don’t live in Chicago, they have kindly left their cinnamon roll recipe on their website for you to attempt at home.
But it might be worth it to just fly here, eat them, and go back home with three bags of them. 🙂
(They will also tell you under the cinnamon roll recipe that it is just better to come try them yourselves!)
That’s it, friends! Have a wonderful weekend! We have birthday fun and a birthday party for Tess and her cousin, Georgia, on Sunday so busy weekend at the Clark’s!
